9bit Robot LLC, a premium publisher focused on original games for classic Atari era platforms, today announced MuddyVision as its first exclusive publishing partner.
MuddyVision is an independent game developer from the UK, focused on Atari retro platforms. Founded in 2018 by Lewis Hill and inspired by his lifelong love for classic games and systems, MuddyVision specializes in creating “new old-fashioned” games. Since beginning releases in 2019, MuddyVision has created a number of acclaimed, award-winning titles for the Atari 2600 and Atari 7800, earning six Annual Homebrew Awards.
As part of the partnership, 9bit Robot confirmed two upcoming MuddyVision titles planned for release under the 9bit Robot label: Wilf: An Annelid Adventure and MV Sports. Additional details, including release timing, features, and first screenshots, will be shared in future announcements.
“MuddyVision represents exactly what we want to celebrate at 9bit Robot,” said Ed Mello, founder of 9bit Robot. “Original games, built with care, and delivered as collector grade physical releases that respect both the developer and the player.”
